We've Got Veggies! - Wordless Wednesday #WW

Our family is now able to enjoy some of the fruits (and veggies!) of our labor...

Thanks to our pesticide-free garden, our grocery budget has decreased!

I bet the kids love eating their fruits and veggies even more because it came from their own garden! Great!

  3. It has actually ENCOURAGED them to eat it too! My oldest does not like leafy greens, so this was the first time that he ate a salad.

They actually helped my husband and I grow from seed and helped at all stages (planting, watering, etc.), so I think they have a deeper appreciation for it :-)

  4. We were more excited for our strawberries, because the cost for those in our grocery stores has doubled since last year. These are not pictured, courtesy of our current slug and small creature problem :-(

I put netting up and will be applying some slug repellant (that is safe for organic gardening) soon.

  6. Awesome! Our garden is just starting to sprout a bit and since I am a novice gardener, I'm not entirely sure that anything will grow enough for us to eat it. I sure hope that it does because your kiddos look like they are having a great time eating their home grown veggies
