MHO Monday Mingle - LOVE!

Welcome to the Monday Mingle!
Hosted by

Funny Postpartum Lady & Story of a Girl

This Week's Theme: LOVE

This Week's Questions:

1. Who was your first love?

His name was Ryan. I had a crush on him since the first grade, and so did my best friend (which didn't bother me that much at all. On my tenth birthday, I dared my best friend to kiss him because I was too embarassed to. She pinned him down on the couch abd planted a big wet kiss on him. Ryan ended up running out of my parents house and my dad had to chase him down the street.

Ryan and I had our first official date when I was 16, we weren't boyfriend and girlfriend or anything. I had moved from my home state of California six years before and was just visiting.

2. Do you remember your first kiss?

Yes, and it was VERY awkward! I was 15 and the guy I kissed ended up being my second boyfriend. We were at our friend, Amanda's neighbors house. She was house sitting and had fallen asleep after the three of us had gone to the movies and played some board games. I was very shy and had no idea what to do and I was literally shaking.

3. What are your plans for this Valentine's Day?

My husband and I are going out to dinner and going shooting at the local gun range (yes, that was my idea)...if we can find a sitter ;-)

4. What do you love most about your Significant Other? If you're single, what quality do you look for the most?

Unlike most people that I have met in my lifetime, he has the ability to actually think and because of it, and he has strong convictions backed up by those ideas. He doesn't instantly believe in worldly ideas, but this same quality actually can be annoying. He is bitter about some things, while by nature, I am a pretty optimistic person so at times we "clash". I hope that makes sense...

5. What would be your DREAM gift for Valentine's Day?

Honestly, I would LOVE it if I got to sleep in, have breakfast in bed, spend a couple hours at the gym, go to a spa, have a pedicure, manicure, receieve handmade Valentine's Day gifts from my kids, and go out to a nice resturaunt with my husband.

Okay, now it's your turn. Grab the button and questions and repost on your page!!! Link your post up and mingle with other bloggers!!! No rules, just meet new people!

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog! I feel the same way about my husband. I am fairly optimistic and he's had such a hard life that it's hard for him to be that way so we often do clash about those things but I love that he can think for himself!

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a friendly comment! I try my best to reply to as many as possible :-)
