Dessert So Healthy...It Can Be Snack!

My kids absolutely loooooove this quick & simple "Strawberry Gelato" recipe, in fact they have it quite frequently as snack! Not only do my kids think I am super-awesome for giving them dessert, but it is gluten free and anyone with dietary restrictions can eat it GUILT FREE - Brownie points for mom!

Avocado is full of natural good fat that is necessary for the growing brain & strawberries are low-glycemic and chalked full of antioxidents.

Strawberry Mock-lato!

* 1 large avocado
* 2 cups frozen strawberries
* (Optional) Add a little Stevia or Agave Nectar to taste

Pit & scoop out the avocado and out in the blender with the frozen strawberries and blend! Enjoy!

Be sure to experiment...add any fruit in substitute of the strawberries and flavor to your liking!

  1. Sounds delish - except I'm allergic to avocados. Boo! I'm sure I could switch out some other veggies/fruits though. Thanks for linking up to Snacktime Saturday!
